"39 Weeks" & More

"39 Weeks 4 days" - I was thinking like I've previously mentioned the Dr's office has always had my due date as April 1st but the reason why I've always used March 25th is because when I had my 6 week ultrasound they said that my measurements put me at March 25th so at that point I thought they changed it. So I guess technically i'd be 38 weeks 4 days BUT THERE ARE ONLY 4 DAYS LEFT UNTIL MY C-SECTION (March 26th).

I have my facebook status all planned out for when we make the announcement. I'm hoping I'll be able to be the 1st to post.

I had a dr. apt today. All went well. Dr. Wisebaker (who is doing the c-section) just checked the heartbeat (135). I lost two lbs WHOO HOO LOL! Then she ordered Motrin and Vicodin for after my c-section. I didn't use those much with the girls. Then she went over a couple of details with breastfeeding & my tubes being tied. I can breastfeed as soon as we get into the recovery room YAY!

OH!!!! FOR FAMILY / VISITORS who didn't read this in my last post - Dr. said that the recovery room only allows me, the baby, and 1 person to be in the RECOVERY room. SO that means since the girls are going to see the baby first they will have to wait until we are in our actual room. Josh will be the 1 person who will be in recovery with me. Once we are in our actual room the girls will come in first and then be able to tell everyone what baby is. Then everyone else can follow when the time is right.

Family will all be there on the 26th but -
I will of course update Facebook or text ASAP to let anyone know what room we're in so we can have visitors.

Only  4 days left!!! I can't believe it! 4 days still seems so far away.

Our little gummy bear is now approximately the size of watermelon. According to baby center...
19 to 22 inches and 6 to 9 lbs.

THEME:
Girl: Teal with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion
Boy: Blue with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion
(Abby is purple, Jasmine is pink)

Total weight loss/ gain? Total 46lbs. Down 2 this week YAY! ;)

"Feeling fat lasts nine months but the joy of becoming a mom lasts forever". ~Attributed to Nikki Dalton

Maternity clothes? Down to 2 pants and my shirts look silly but it doesn't bother me.

Sleep?  This week off has been full of sleep - which has been great.

Best moment this week? Having a week to do nothing.

Movement?  Love feeling all the movement especially the movement that really makes my belly shake.

Food cravings?  I just eat too much period.

Food aversions? sometimes its very hard for me to decide what sounds good to eat

Gender? Josh and I know. The world will find out on March 26th.

What I am looking forward to? C-SECTION 4 DAYS AWAY!!

Labor signs? None - Dr didn't check my cervix today because I haven't had any contractions etc and my c-section is so close.

Belly button in or out? IN - my stretch marks are swollen near my belly button (weird)

Milestones? only 4 days away!

At the end of my appointment they scheduled a 6-8 week appointment for May 16th. So I'll have to get my schedule figured out so I can let work know. Then they'll be able to tell me if I'll be returning to work or not.

JASMINE'S "SPOTS" UPDATE -  We took her to the dermatologist and the Dr said that her body will eventually become immune to them and they'll just go away. It could take longer than 1 year. There isn't anything they can do to make them go away. No creams, no treatment, etc. They just have to run their course. The Dr did freeze a couple of the big ones so those may clear a little sooner but it doesn't make them go away or make the rest clear up. If she gets scars she'd have scars no matter the treatment. BUT if she scars then the scars will fade.

IT'S ALL IN GOD'S HANDS! <3
