Work News - "I'm done"

I was wondering when this news would come and today was the day!

Hopefully you've kept up with my blog otherwise this will not make sense to you. =)

As soon as I train a new employee at work - "I'm done". I'm assuming my last day will be Feb 8th but I'm not 100% certain.

I was told they will keep in touch during maternity leave if they want me to return after.

I'm actually quite surprised on how well I'm handling this news. The main thing that makes me excited about it is because this will allow me to sub again.

Since I don't know if they will have me return or not then I will be job searching for something part time. My hope is that something may come available at the school.

I'm anxious to see what will happen next. I know God has a great plan for me and if it doesn't include returning to work at Blakeslee's then I'm ok with that. It just means he has something WAY better. <3

Thank you to everyone who has kept up with my updates. If you think about me - say a prayer that I'll find something part time after maternity leave and that hopefully subbing will keep me busy enough until maternity leave. =) I might even start up cleaning again.

32 Weeks

Only 8 weeks to go! I'm getting so anxious to meet this little one. I want to hold, see, feel, kiss, hug, nurse, love, love, love. I can't wait for the girls to come in and find out the surprise. They are going to be such amazing helpers. Today they even said they will change poopy diapers. ;)

There are times I still can not believe I am pregnant - GOD IS SO AMAZING! Thank You LORD for this miracle and the 2 I already have.

Today according to me I am 32 weeks pregnant. 57 days to go or 1 month 25 days until March 26th.

Our little gummy bear is now approximately the size of a bunch of bok choy / jicama / a head of lettuce. Depending on which site you read it says - 19 inches 3.9lbs or 16.7 inches 4lbs or 16.7 inches and 3.75 lbs.

Boy: Blue with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion
(Abby is purple, Jasmine is pink)

I don't like when people are gender specific!

Total weight loss/ gain? Total 35lbs. YUCK.

Maternity clothes? Finally put on my baggy purple maternity shirt and it's not baggy!

Sleep? baby moves most at night so since I'm awake it's great to feel the movement!

Best moment this week? Feeling movement for longer than 20 minutes.

Movement? I still feel movement very low and I feel the movement most at night time. There have a been a couple jabs and belly shakes - but I'm still waiting for that tidal wave effect. Must just be all my fat in the way that the baby isn't strong enough yet to move my fat! I've also read movement might slow down because of the baby getting bigger and not having as much room.

Food cravings? Today I asked Josh to buy Apple Jacks?!?!

Food aversions? Sometimes it's very hard for me to figure out what I feel like eating.

Gender? Josh and I know. The world will find out on March 26th.

What I am looking forward to? My next appointment Feb 4th. EVERY TWO WEEKS now! YAY!!

Labor signs? Thankfully none.

Belly button in or out? IN

Milestones? 8 Weeks to GO!! HURRY UP MARCH 26th!!

Work Related - I think I'm done worrying about work. Hopefully. It consumes too much of my thoughts. Right now my family is the most important thing to me so whatever happens with work - happens with work. Today the girlies had a snow day so I stayed home with them. I deserve to. I'm the Mom.

31 Weeks / Appointment Info / Etc.

Work Related - Someone came into work to turn in a resume for the job I'm currently doing...praying the training will go well with whomever they choose to hire. I do hope that I will still return part time after maternity leave - but we'll just have to see what happens. My boss today made a comment (can't remember word for word) but it made me think - OK that makes my future here seem uncertain. Which has been the case all along really. STOP WORRYING RIGHT?!?!!? =)

Appointment - Today I had my "30 week appointment". Baby's heartbeat was 136.
They also confirmed that my c-section will be Tuesday, March 26th at NOON. I asked them a couple questions about "natural c-section" but the nurse said that maybe I can check with the Dr. that is doing the c-section when I'm farther along to see if she'll do the "natural c-section". I will be having Dr. Wisebaker. I really wish I was having Dr. Federico but he'll be on vacation. I'll add a couple more details below but otherwise that was the jist of my appointment.

Today according to me I am 31 weeks pregnant. 63 days to go or 2 months 4 days until March 26th.

Our little gummy bear is now approximately the size of a bunch of asparagus. I don't really like that comparison - last week it was a large cabbage - a bunch of asparagus seems a lot smaller than a large cabbage. Approximately 16 inches and weighs about 3.3 lbs.

Girl: Teal with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion
Boy: Blue with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion

I can tell everyone thinks we're having a boy.

Total weight loss/ gain? Total 35lbs. YUCK.  The nurse I had today is extremely nice but she's like ya I saw your for your yearly appointment last year and you were down in weight quite a bit. YUP that was my lowest weight after WW & Medical Weight Loss. I had been a PIG!!  SO!! Totally my fault but I really need to watch it. I did not want to be at 35 lbs. She said they don't want me to diet but I do need to watch it more than I am.

Maternity clothes?I have 2 pairs of jeans, one nursing bra, & one sleep bra. Getting trickier to find shirts that won't be too short. I have 1 maternity shirt but it's a touch baggy yet. Panties are starting to get a little snug.

Sleep? I sleep better when I nap. I feel lots of movement when I'm laying in bed so if I'm awake feeling movement - it's all worth it.

Best moment this week? Finding out the c-section date.

Movement? I still feel movement very low and I feel the movement most at night time. There have a been a couple jabs and belly shakes - but I'm still waiting for that tidal wave effect. Must just be all my fat in the way that the baby isn't strong enough yet to move my fat!

Food cravings? Orange juice.

Food aversions? Veggies, Plain Chicken

Gender? Josh and I know. The world will find out on March 26th.

What I am looking forward to? My next appointment Feb 4th. EVERY TWO WEEKS now! YAY!!

Labor signs? Thankfully none. - Nurse said today that in one of my ultrasounds it showed my uterus was at a good length or something so I didn't have any risk of pre-term labor. YAY!

Belly button in or out? I have always written that it will be in for the whole pregnancy - which it will be but I'm starting to feel these wierd bumps inside. Hmmm?

Milestones? 9 Weeks to GO!! HURRY UP MARCH 26th!!

30 Weeks & Work Update

Work update - Everything seems to change daily but as of right now they are going to look for someone who can work full time to be the service coordinator / dispatcher (I think)...and then after maternity leave I will probably return part time doing what I started doing in August with some additional work that has been added since then.

So good news is - doesn't sound like I'll be fired.

I'm kind of just taking the - go with the flow approach. It is what it is. Whatever happens...happens.
If I find out after maternity leave that they don't want me to return part time then I'll just job search for something else part time.

No sense worrying about what I can't change.   - I know you're thinking did AMANDA MILLER just say that?!?! - Well I thought it and I typed it so for the record... I said NO WORRYING!! ;)
Going to try hard!

Now on to BABY UPDATES...

Today I am 30 weeks pregnant. 70 days to go or 2 months 10 days until March 25th.

Our little gummy bear is now approximately the size of a large cabbage. Approximately 15.7 inches and weighs about 3 lbs.

29 Weeks & a little more about work

I wanted to start with work info this time instead of putting it at the end. It's been consuming my every thought lately. I've been worried, nervous, anxious, even cried a couple times. It's hard not knowing what the future will bring BUT I know God has a great plan for me!

I was told at work on Friday the 4th that they want my position to be full time.  Since I re-started in August my position has changed so because of the new things I'm doing they would prefer the position be full time. After discussing it with Josh and my family we decided that I will not be able to work full time. I would have to pay for daycare and that is something I never want to do - I'd rather be poor than work to pay for someone else to watch my kids.

I went in today to tell them the hours that I can work. They are going to discuss it and let me know what's going to happen. I'm hoping to hear there decision soon so I know if I'll have a job or not.  I understand that they need to do what they feel is right for  the company but I'm praying they will allow me to train and job share with someone so that I can still work there. I do love the job and would hate to be let go.

-So please pray that it will be possible for me to job share or if I am let go that I will find other part time work.

Today I am 29 weeks pregnant. 77 days to go or 2 months 17 days until March 25th.

Our little gummy bear is now approximately the size of a butternut squash. Approximately 15 inches and weighs about 2 1/2 lbs.

THEME:
Girl: Teal with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion
Boy: Blue with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion
(Abby is purple, Jasmine is pink)

I can tell everyone thinks we're having a boy.
Have any name guesses??

Maternity clothes?I have 2 pairs of jeans, one nursing bra, & one sleep bra. I can wear most of my shirts that I normally wear – some are getting shorter and some show off more of my belly but they still fit. I forgot I actually have 1 maternity shirt but it's a touch baggy yet. Panties are starting to get a little snug.

Sleep? What is sleep? Just preparing me for late night breast feeding - which I am so looking forward to!
Best moment this week? Having a feeling that I will possibly have 2 days off a week from work to be able to be a MOM.
Movement? Josh felt 1st, then Jasmine, now Abby has felt the baby move too! Whoo hoo! Can't wait to see the big tidal waves etc. ;)  I keep feeling movement really low.

Food cravings? Orange juice.

Food aversions? Veggies, Plain Chicken
Gender? Josh and I know. The world will find out probably on March 25th.
