35 Weeks & Ultrasound & Girlie Updates & Work

35 Weeks - See Below for other news.

Only 34 days left!!! Yahoo! Plus only 23 Days until my last day at work! Double Yahoo!

I had my ultrasound today and baby was head down, face down so we were not able to get any pictures. BUMMER!! The ultrasound tech confirmed the sex and we saw some arm and leg bones, kidneys, a cute little butt. Just no precious face. Thinking it must have been nap time UNTIL the Dr checked the heartbeat and was feeling kicks all over the place. Silly! Weight estimate was 6-7lbs =) So that explains my weight gain! ;) ;)  Heartbeat was 140.

Our little gummy bear is now approximately the size of a honeydew melon. According to baby center... 5 1/4 lbs and 18 inches.
THEME:
Girl: Teal with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion
Boy: Blue with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion
(Abby is purple, Jasmine is pink)

Total weight loss/ gain? Total 41lbs. YUCK.

Maternity clothes? Would love to get some new shirts but 34 days probably isn't worth it. I'm kind of down to one pair of pants.
Sleep?  Sleeping = more like laying down and then peeing about 3-5 times a night.
Best moment this week? Another ultrasound!
Movement?  baby is most active when I'm laying on my side at night. can't get enough of that feeling. it's something i'll miss a ton!

Food cravings? Cheetos
Food aversions? Broccoli - plain chicken
Gender? Josh and I know. The world will find out on March 26th.

What I am looking forward to? My next appointment March 8th.
Labor signs? Thankfully none.

Belly button in or out? IN
Milestones? Almost less than 1 month away!

OTHER NEWS:

Abby: We missed conferences this week because school events were cancelled but we've been talking to her teacher and the principle about concerns in class. She will often stare or daydream during class and sometimes not complete her work. She's also been having a hard time with Math and some Reading. She has always been shy and quiet and we are not sure why but her confidence level is also not high.  Of course typing this makes me feel like I'm talking about myself. I can be shy, I'm quiet sometimes, my confidence / self esteem is extremely low and I'm horrible at Math. So how do you teach your daughter to not be like her mother???

Since we were concerned about her focus issues we took her to the Dr to see if we should have her tested for any type of attention type disorder. I knew exactly what her Dr would say but she's perfect in his words (in my mind) so she does not have any issues so he wrote a letter for her teacher to just try and redirect Abby's attention. If that does not work or if things do not seem to improve then we'll have to see what else we need to do. For now we're going to try to get her some extra tutoring to make sure she gets as much help as possible and then hopefully she'll be able to go 2nd grade.

It's hard when you feel like your child is struggling in areas. I want to help as much as possible and just make it all better. Thankfully we have a loving family that is willing to help as much as possible.

On a fun note Abby is going to start Guitar lessons and she is very excited. She absolutely LOVES music and has since she was born so I'm really looking forward to hearing her play her 1st song. Plus if she sings along - beautiful! <3  I LOVE you my Abby Lee - in my eyes you are perfect in every way.

Jasmine: Jasmine's  conferences were Monday night. They went well. Since she could play with toys she has always put things in straight lines or patterns, etc. At conferences her teacher showed us a project she did. The project was supposed to show sentences (for example...I see my dog, I see my cat, I see my animal,  I see my bird) so she needed to cut out I, see, my , dog and then paste them in a sentence. Well instead of putting the sentence horizontally she put them vertically. No one else in class had done that. The only thing I could think of was that she was putting all the I's next to each other, all the see's next to each other etc. So just another pattern. So I'm thinking this is like a OCD tendency or sometihng. She is great at cleaning etc it's funny though that she can be messy as well. She's also been extra mouthy lately so we're working on that. Not really sure what triggered that. She is our little miss detail. The other day Abby had some tights on that kept falling down. Jasmine said "If she would have put her panties over her tights like I told her she wouldn't have that problem".   Or I had asked her if she could pick up some clothes off the floor for me because I can't bend down well. She says "MOM!!! I was reading Junie B Jones, why can't you do it!"

We're looking to sign her up for T-Ball/ Softball so she can have her own thing to do.
Same for you my Jasmine Charlee - in my eyes you are perfect in every way.

Work - I was supposed to be done last Friday but the lady I was training quit so I will now be working until March 15th. We are going to be getting new software at work that is supposed to make everything more efficient. Everything is still very unknown so I have no idea what my future will be there. I'm just going to have to go with the flow, take each day one day at a time, and just see what happens. Like I keep saying - whatever happens, happens. If they don't have me return then their loss really. =)

I still have subbing.

If you made it all the way to the end - LIKE my facebook post so I know you follow along.

34 Weeks

34 Weeks

Only 43 days left!!! Yahoo!

My next appointment will be Wed Feb 20th at 2pm and I'll be having another ultrasound to check my placenta (because it was low before) plus they'll estimate the size of the baby etc. Josh will be going with me. YAY!

Today according to me I am 34 weeks pregnant. 43 days to go until March 26th.

Our little gummy bear is now approximately the size of a cantaloupe. I LOVE cantaloupe. 4 3/4 lbs and 18 inches long.

THEME:
Girl: Teal with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion
Boy: Blue with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion
(Abby is purple, Jasmine is pink)

We bought a play yard & a co-sleeper this week. The co-sleeper is tan and the play yard is a secret. We have to keep that hidden until the baby is born. We weren't able to find the exact one we wanted but the one we bought was way better price wise.

Total weight loss/ gain? Total 39lbs. YUCK.

Maternity clothes? Trying to be creative with what I wear so my panel on my jeans doesn't show too often.

Sleep? I've actually felt like I've slept a little better - probably because of feeling less stressed about work (see below for more details)

Best moment this week? Buying the co-sleeper, play yard, and crib sheets.

Movement?  I feel lots of movement at night and I love it. Especially when Josh feels the movement too.

Food cravings? Nothing major sticks out. I've been eating way too much food.

Food aversions? Don't really have any strong aversions (except plain chicken) but most of the time it's just very hard for me to figure out what I feel like eating.

Gender? Josh and I know. The world will find out on March 26th.

What I am looking forward to? My next appointment Feb 20th.

Labor signs? Thankfully none.

Belly button in or out? IN
Milestones? Love that I've only got 43 days to go!!

Work update again... Seems like things change daily so this might change by next week BUT...

Last week they hired a lady who was going to be my replacement and after training for one week my last day was supposed to be Friday. It was a very stressful week. It was hard to train because she felt very overwhelmed and didn't understand most everything I trained. Plus when you're training someone to replace you that's hard as well.

Friday the girls had a snow day so I did not go into work and then she actually quit. So my boss called me to let me know. He said they'd like me to continue working when I can and they will not be hiring anyone else. Such a huge weight lifted off my shoulders!!! Then he said we'll have to see what happens after maternity leave (he used different words). When I thought my last day was going to be Friday I let Kent City know that I would be able to sub. SO...now if I get called to sub I will be able to sub instead. This makes me very happy. I can work when I can work which will help financially until maternity leave but also be able to sub as well. I love subbing.

I'm still not sure if they will actually have me return after maternity leave but "whatever happens, happens!" God has a great plan for me and I trust him completely!"

33 Weeks

33 Weeks

Only 7 weeks 1 day to go = 50 days!!! Yahoo!

I had a dr appointment today. It's at that stage appointment where your appointment takes 2 mintues but the waiting takes 1 hour. The dr I had today was the dr that helped during my labor with Abby. She is not my favorite. The way she talks makes me laugh but to put it bluntly she's just strange.

The heartbeat was 146 today and she found the heartbeat above my belly button. All the other times the dr's have found the hearbeat below my belly button so that was odd.

My next appointment will be Wed Feb 20th at 2pm and I'll be having another ultrasound to check my placenta (because it was low before) plus they'll estimate the size of the baby etc. Josh will be going with me. YAY!

The dr explained today that at this c-section they may not cut the same area they cut with Jasmine. She said you know we won't be able to go bikini shopping together anyway so it's not that big of a deal. BUT I'm going to schedule an appointment with the Dr. that will be doing my c-section to see what her opinion is because she may do it differently than the Dr. I had today. PLUS the dr that is doing this c-section did the c-section with Jasmine.

Today was a busy, stressful day so If I'm not making sense - I apologize. I could elaborate tons more to explain more about work but I really don't feel like it anymore. It really truly consumes way too much of my thoughts and I really, really need to just let it all go and BREATH!!! God is Great!
If you're interested private message me on fb or email me! =)

Today according to me I am 33 weeks pregnant. 50 days to go until March 26th.

Our little gummy bear is now approximately the size of a pineapple. Depending on which site you read it says - 20 inches, 5lbs or 17.2 inches and 4.5 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Trying to be creative with what I wear so my panel on my jeans doesn't show too often.

Sleep? Don't sleep much.

Best moment this week? Finding out at my appointment today I'll be able to get more ultrasound pics on Feb 20.
Movement? I still feel movement very low and I feel the movement most at night time. There have a been a couple jabs and belly shakes - but I'm still waiting for that tidal wave effect. Must just be all my fat in the way that the baby isn't strong enough yet to move my fat! I've also read movement might slow down because of the baby getting bigger and not having as much room.

Food cravings? Nothing major sticks out. I've been eating way too much food.

Food aversions? Don't really have any strong aversions (except plain chicken) but most of the time it's just very hard for me to figure out what I feel like eating.
