35 Weeks & Ultrasound & Girlie Updates & Work

35 Weeks - See Below for other news.

Only 34 days left!!! Yahoo! Plus only 23 Days until my last day at work! Double Yahoo!

I had my ultrasound today and baby was head down, face down so we were not able to get any pictures. BUMMER!! The ultrasound tech confirmed the sex and we saw some arm and leg bones, kidneys, a cute little butt. Just no precious face. Thinking it must have been nap time UNTIL the Dr checked the heartbeat and was feeling kicks all over the place. Silly! Weight estimate was 6-7lbs =) So that explains my weight gain! ;) ;)  Heartbeat was 140.

Our little gummy bear is now approximately the size of a honeydew melon. According to baby center... 5 1/4 lbs and 18 inches.
THEME:
Girl: Teal with anything Detroit Lions or the animal Lion

OTHER NEWS:

Abby: We missed conferences this week because school events were cancelled but we've been talking to her teacher and the principle about concerns in class. She will often stare or daydream during class and sometimes not complete her work. She's also been having a hard time with Math and some Reading. She has always been shy and quiet and we are not sure why but her confidence level is also not high.  Of course typing this makes me feel like I'm talking about myself. I can be shy, I'm quiet sometimes, my confidence / self esteem is extremely low and I'm horrible at Math. So how do you teach your daughter to not be like her mother???

Since we were concerned about her focus issues we took her to the Dr to see if we should have her tested for any type of attention type disorder. I knew exactly what her Dr would say but she's perfect in his words (in my mind) so she does not have any issues so he wrote a letter for her teacher to just try and redirect Abby's attention. If that does not work or if things do not seem to improve then we'll have to see what else we need to do. For now we're going to try to get her some extra tutoring to make sure she gets as much help as possible and then hopefully she'll be able to go 2nd grade.

It's hard when you feel like your child is struggling in areas. I want to help as much as possible and just make it all better. Thankfully we have a loving family that is willing to help as much as possible.

On a fun note Abby is going to start Guitar lessons and she is very excited. She absolutely LOVES music and has since she was born so I'm really looking forward to hearing her play her 1st song. Plus if she sings along - beautiful! <3  I LOVE you my Abby Lee - in my eyes you are perfect in every way.

Jasmine: Jasmine's  conferences were Monday night. They went well. Since she could play with toys she has always put things in straight lines or patterns, etc. At conferences her teacher showed us a project she did. The project was supposed to show sentences (for example...I see my dog, I see my cat, I see my animal,  I see my bird) so she needed to cut out I, see, my , dog and then paste them in a sentence. Well instead of putting the sentence horizontally she put them vertically. No one else in class had done that. The only thing I could think of was that she was putting all the I's next to each other, all the see's next to each other etc. So just another pattern. So I'm thinking this is like a OCD tendency or sometihng. She is great at cleaning etc it's funny though that she can be messy as well. She's also been extra mouthy lately so we're working on that. Not really sure what triggered that. She is our little miss detail. The other day Abby had some tights on that kept falling down. Jasmine said "If she would have put her panties over her tights like I told her she wouldn't have that problem".   Or I had asked her if she could pick up some clothes off the floor for me because I can't bend down well. She says "MOM!!! I was reading Junie B Jones, why can't you do it!"

We're looking to sign her up for T-Ball/ Softball so she can have her own thing to do.
Same for you my Jasmine Charlee - in my eyes you are perfect in every way.

Work - I was supposed to be done last Friday but the lady I was training quit so I will now be working until March 15th. We are going to be getting new software at work that is supposed to make everything more efficient. Everything is still very unknown so I have no idea what my future will be there. I'm just going to have to go with the flow, take each day one day at a time, and just see what happens. Like I keep saying - whatever happens, happens. If they don't have me return then their loss really. =)

I still have subbing.

If you made it all the way to the end - LIKE my facebook post so I know you follow along.
